I'm not going to get into this post in much detail. Gina and I took out a camera man from The Fisherman magazine. They did a special on us being that we are a husband and wife team that go offshore fishing together. The episode will be posted on this site in October. As you could only imagine I couldn't sleep a wink the night before the shoot. What a relief it was to land that tuna! It would have been a disaster to have a camera on board and no fish. It was a real cool thing to be a part of. The camera guy Tim C. Smith was awesome. He interviewed us each for 20 minutes at the dock after we got back
We netted a mystery fish (bottom right) that I'm working on identifying. We found the fish swimming in a 55 gallon drum. He was released safely.
Tuna fishing has been AWESOME this year.
