We stopped to see if any weakfish were around. We found a few but they were very small. As we were setting up to drift for fluke we ran into a huge bluefish blitz. I was surprised at their size. A lot of 5-8 pounders. We only had one spinning rod set up with a popper so we took turns. We were hooking up on every cast.

 

After we had enough of the blues we went to find some fluke however before we got into it the skies opened up so we headed home.

 

Hopefully I can get Matthew out on one more offshore trip before he leaves.

 

Matt and I bulit a new filet table. Actually Matt built the table, I watched.
