I thought today was going to be another day ruined by weather. As we started to head for the inlet, chatter on the radio was very discouraging. The ocean still had a decent heave on. The inlet was a mess. I made the decision to start fluking and wait until we had slack tide. After catching some small fluke we made our way to the inlet. There were breakers and white water on both sides but as I lined up the buoys it wasn't bad. We encountered a few rollers and made our way to the reef. The ocean began to quickly lay down.

 

Once I dialed in on some pieces of structure (photo top right) it was silly fishing out there. Joe had 11 double headers, and he also out-fished me today. The bait of choice was clam. At one point there was only 1 other boat out there with us. BSB is my favorite eating fish. I plan on having some BSB Piccatta from our recipe page.

 

All of those lines are the tracks we took fishing over the structure. Sorry about the very sunny picture. It ended up being a great weather day.
