I was in bed at 8:15 last night. Too bad it wasn't because I was tired from reeling in tuna. I was tired from the 138 miles we covered. 12 hours of nothing. We went all the way to the Coimbra Wreck which is SE of Moriches Inlet. Then we went west to the Linda Wreck. Then we went west again to stop at a buoy before re-entering the bay through FI inlet. We marked plenty of bait. At one point we even found birds and whales but no tuna. All that we had to show for our efforts were a couple of cool underwater pictures and one green bonito. I did not hear of one other boat picking up a tuna on the radio.
