With the forecast calling for fog and Gina in desperate need of some sleep, I decided to sleep in. Around 10am the fog lifted and I ran out. Once again I didn't have to go far. I couldn't believe my eyes, there were 5 party boats and about 20 other private boats right outside my canal. That is the first time that I have seen that. I stayed far away fom them and it paid off. I found a spot that was far from the fleet and despite not being near any bunker, bluefish were everywhere. I called my buddy Bob over to join the party. Very rarely did I go more than 3 casts without a fish. The only thing that went wrong today was the fact that I lost my favorite plug. It's the first plug I lost this year. The picture in the bottom right is the aftermath of a bluefish that I released. I can't say enough about the electronics. I also added a new radio. They are calling for fog again tomorrow but something tells me I will heading out at some point. I need to find those weakfish. Its nice to be able to eat fish tacos again.
