Fred and I pushed off at 5:30. The water in the bay dropped 10 degrees from Monday. We headed east and found some bluefish. The were very scattered. We lost everyone that we hooked! We had a few popper blow-ups and we lost a few swim shads. On the way home I stopped at the river and picked up my first keeper bass of the season. The bass was 28" on the nose. This should be it for the cold until the fall. I'm tired of wearing layer upon layer in May!
