Gina and I were able to avoid the wind for most of Monday. We first tried to find some weakfish. Wind against tide made for a miserable drift. So after about a half hour we decided to look for some fluke. We hit the bridge and found a quick flurry of action. Gina was able to pull out a 20" keeper. I had a few shorts and one very large spider crab. That screen shot is exactly what I look for when fluke fishing. A nice drop off with bait hovering above.  After lunch we hopped back on the boat and did some clamming. Thankfully I found a quick 3 dozen and was out of the 64 degree water before I froze. Gina made some great baked clams and clams with a sherry sauce.
