Wow.. mother nature outdid herself today. From the sunrise to the sunset and everything inbetween. I headed to the San Diego to pick up some black seabass. Plenty of fish however, just one keeper to go along with tons of dogfish/sharks. After that I headed north to look for bass. Boy did I find them. I really can't explain what I witnessed. Thousands of bass and bluefish rolling on the top, feeding on rain bait. I had them all to myself from 1pm. If that wasn't cool enough, check out the bird that landed on my rod while I was fishing. I removed him and we hung for about an hour together. Besides the bird and the fish, I passed a huge whale while I was leaving the San Diego. I'm having some elbow problems so I'm not to sure when I can get back out there. One other note, it was a chilly 36 degrees when I pushed off this morning. .
