Yesterday was another epic bass bite in the ocean. I was willing to travel all the way to NJ but thankfully I didn't have to go too far. I caught my biggest bass ever, 51lbs. The amount of bunker and bass in the ocean was incredible. Despite more boats than you could ever imagine being on the water Chris and I were able to fish bunker pods with no one else on them. At one point a huge school of bass found the pod we were fishing. All hell broke loose. Take a look at those screen shots! It didn't matter what you were throwing at them. Chris was hooking up on top water plugs and I was hooking up on heavy shads. Besides bass and bunker, there were dolphins, whales and even a seal amongst us.  We threw in the towel around noon. I can't wait to get back out on them.

When I haven't been able to get out in the ocean the bay bite has been very productive. This last week we had plenty of schoolies and a bunch of slots mixed in. Swim shads and Yo-Zuri Top Knock Pencils have been catching all of our fish.
