Didn't plan on fishing today however, Gina got up early to head to NJ for the day so I poked my head out the back door and was surprised to find zero wind.

I figured I would stay local and look for the bass that I had found the other day. The next thing I knew I was over by the lighthouse when I noticed a big school of bass on the fishfinder. Unprepared is an understatement. I was only able to pull one small bass. The fish quickly disappeared so I headed to the inlet to see what was going on.

Just as I got to the inlet I looked at my cell phone and saw a message from my buddy Steve. He told me that his brother was out for a walk this morning and saw bass in the bay. If I didn't catch those bass the other day I would have called BS. So I headed back towards home and wouldn't you know it I found a bass. I thought the action was going to be non-stop however I only got in on the action for about a 1/2 hour. I landed 7 bass.

The wind was insane! I couldn't believe the size of the waves rolling through.  I would like to head out later however I don't think the wind is going to let up. I lost my GoinEast hat..&%^*%&^
