It's been 2 weeks since I have been able to get out. This weekend is a no-go due to the wind. However it looks like starting on Wednesday wave heights and the wind really drop out. If the forecast holds I plan on doing some blackfishing and then I hope to head offshore looking for tuna!

My canal is loaded with bait and a few odd balls.

The top left shows a bunch of big mullet in my cast net. By far my favorite Mahi bait.

Top right shows a school of peanut bunker swimming around.

The middle left shows a flock of birds looking for worms that come up after it rains.

The middle right shows a black drum. Not a rare sighing but not a common one either.

The bottom left shows a fish in my hand. I have no idea what it is. If I had to guess..white perch?

the bottom right shows a small school of needle fish. These fish show up usually when our water temps peak.
