Roger and I waited for the ocean to lay down so we could run the beach. Broke the inlet around 1pm. Ocean was flat. A lot of bait on the bottom. Mixed in with the bait are millions of 10-14" weakfish. As we made our way from FI to Moriches we came across a couple of schools of Albies. It took us a few minutes to figure out how to get them to bite. We were using 2oz epoxy jigs. Cast into the blitzing fish and let your jig sink then reel. In total we had about a dozen albies. Heading back home through moriches. Great way to spend the afternoon.
