I needed to get out once last time before the big blow. I found some bass in the bay. I had 8 of these little guys. I also lost a decent fish when he spit the hook as I was reaching for the net. Next tuesday is opening day for blackfish. However its a full moon. That means the water will be ripping. Certainly not ideal conditions for blackfishing. On the other hand if I'm able to get out of the inlet I should be able to find some bass.  It may be a last minute decision.
